Klaar
The AI-literacy duty has been law since Feb 2025

Prove your team is
AI-literate. In an afternoon.

The EU AI Act makes AI literacy a legal duty, but prescribes no curriculum. Klaar gives small European teams role-specific training, a risk-classified tool inventory, an auto-written usage policy and a dated compliance record. Cheap, fast, evidenced.

Why now

The duty is already live. The clock is the only certainty.

Article 4 has applied since 2 February 2025, so it is already law today. Transparency duties land on 2 August 2026, and the heavier high-risk obligations were moved to 2 December 2027 by the 2026 Digital Omnibus. No regulator hands you a curriculum, every AI-using company has to assemble and evidence its own training.

If you have no compliance function, that’s a problem you didn’t ask for. Klaar turns it into a checklist you finish in an afternoon.

How it works

Four steps to defensible AI literacy

No consultant, no template pack to wrangle. Klaar walks you through it and keeps the evidence.

1
Inventory your tools

Add the AI you actually use. A short wizard classifies each as prohibited, high, limited or minimal risk.

2
Train each role

Everyone gets a short, role-specific micro-course and a 5-question quiz, marketing, HR, sales, engineering.

3
Publish your policy

Klaar drafts an AI usage policy from your inventory, aligned to Articles 4, 5 and 50, ready to share.

4
Export the record

One click produces a dated, ID-stamped compliance record, your evidence of effort if anyone asks.

The product

Everything the Act asks for, in one place

Risk classification
A tool inventory that knows the law

Answer four plain-language questions per tool. Klaar maps each to the AI Act’s four risk tiers and tells you exactly what you must do, or stop doing.

Role-specific training
Micro-courses people finish

Generated for each role, short, relevant, with a quiz that issues a dated certificate on a pass.

Auto-generated usage policy

A complete AI policy drafted from your real tool list, editable, versioned, ready to circulate.

Dated certificates

Each pass produces an ID-stamped certificate citing Article 4, individual proof, per person.

One-click record export

Inventory, training, policy and logs bundled into a single dated PDF you can hand to anyone.

“We’re eleven people and no legal team. Klaar got our whole studio trained and gave us one PDF to point at. It took an afternoon, not a quarter.”

Questions teams ask us

No, Klaar is software that helps you organise and evidence your AI-literacy effort. It references the relevant Articles in plain language, but for a formal legal opinion you should still talk to counsel. Most small teams need structure and evidence, not litigation.
